Kaden's Birthday Video

I stole this idea from my friend, Kelly - who pretty much all my good ideas come from!  We started making birthday videos last year and the kids LOVE it!

Bailey's Birthday Video

Happy Birthday Kaden

This time of year is always super crazy! Two days after Bailey's birthday and right before Halloween is Kaden's birthday. We only do friend's parties every other year so this year was a family party for Kaden. Matt and I decided to take him out on a date. We went to the scout shop and got all his cub scout stuff and then went to eat. He wanted Mexican food.

Two goofy guys

I had them surprise Kaden and come sing to him. It TOTALLY took him off guard. I'm not sure what he was doing right here - I think covering his head.

He was a good sport about it (he hates being the center of attention) and loved the dessert. Then we stopped by Deseret Book - he wanted a "Future Missionary" tag and a journal for his birthday.

Kaden's breakfast of choice - biscuits and gravy. I can't believe I have an 8 year old!

He chose a football cake.

Happy Birthday, Bubba! We sure love you!

Bailey's Birthday

We had Bailey's friends party a week or so before her birthday - but of course we had to celebrate the real day!
The kids love having their door decorated with streamers

Bailey's choice for breakfast - german pancakes

She looked through the cake book and chose a blue fish - which is just so random. I would have expected a barbie or princess cake, but she wanted this one. It looks pretty simple - but it was kinda a pain in the butt to make it stay upright.

Happy Birthday Bai!

Tangled Party

Bailey's birthday party this year was a Tangled pajama party. It was so much fun - I had fun preparing for it and the girls loved it.

All the girls with their braids. Just made out of yellow yard and attached to a dollar store tiara comb - but they LOVED them!

Watching the movie

Party was simple, easy, and fun - my kind of party!

And....More!

Kaden's first football game of the season. Go Seahawks
Did a little crafting with my bff, Jen. Much needed therapy/crafting time and love the way it turned out!

Doing a little reading - Bailey is learning how to read and is so excited about it

Kaden begs me to sleep in a laundry basket....Don't ask. I have no idea why.

We have our very own Jack-o-Lantern for Halloween! Or as Kaden used to call them "Jack-o-Pumpkin"

We bought 80 lbs of chicken - and canned a bunch of it. I love having canned chicken - so convenient and so yummy. Lexie was my little helper.

Bailey very proud of making scrambled eggs all by herself

Crazy hair day at school
